But with that aside, I really like it. Lots. I never use oekaki boards so I can never get those soft, sketchy lines. Those sketchy lines remind me of loose pencil sketches scanned then colored using PSP 7 or Adobe, but with the coloring set to low opacity so that you can clearly see the sketch lines. I love to do that with my art. It just gives it that awesome edge.
As for Jou's hair. Earlier manga style is definitely the best. I find myself drawing his hair just like in the anime. -sighs- I SHALL develop my own way of drawing his hair. ^_^ You inspire me to be different/unique. ^_~
